On this page, I'll introduce myself properly. So enjoy the facts about me and my life...!
My real name is Maria, and I'm a girl from Norway (we Norwegians like to diss the Sweedish people). I live in a nice house with my beloved sister, my beloved brother and my parents. I also have a rabbit, called Toby. You'll see his pictures on the 'Toby' site. I am soon seventeen years old, and I like to; draw, sleep (thank God/dad for my bed), read, listen to music, watch movies, and shop (whenever I have money, which isn't often - I only buy candy for my money, so my friends think I'm quite stupid) and sleep some more.
I also love my rabbit, he's the most adorable creature I've ever had the pleasure to own.
In my bookshelf, there are three books, (I have many more, but these particular books are special) "Lord of the Rings", "The collected works of William Shakespeare" and the Holy Bible. This should say something... Litterature is everything, and I have an author hidden in me somewhere. Right now she's trying to get out - that's why I'm in the prossess of writing my own book. I've reached over 60 pages.
I'm a huge fan of water. I loooove water, especially diving. My dream vacation is reef-diving outside the shore of some exotic country. I feel very welcome underwater, and if I could, I would live my whole life as a mermaid.
I love our computer (I say our because it's the whole family's computer, although I wish it was my own) and I spend a lot of my free time there, visiting chat sites, searching for my idols and so on.
When it comes to boys, I like romantic boys. Romantic boys to me is: a boy who's a bit afraid of me, but tries to impress me (and fails.) A romantic boy try to surprise me with small things that no one else would bother to care about. (Hint: 'A walk to remember') He have to take me on a walk in the moonlight, and take me ice skating on a pond underneath the stars. He should study Shakespeare, I like Shakespeare. My standards are high, but if you're a boy and really fancies me, then YOU CAN DO IT!! (; The most romantic thing a boy could do for me, is to take me out on an open plain in the middle of the night (in the summer, or else this would be too cold) bring a lot of blankets, and then we would lie there and watch the stars and talk about everything and nothing.... *aaah....*

Think about it!
Here's a text I find very helpful in the everyday life, when I'm feeling down or sad. It's a christian text, about Jesus, but it's worth reading and worth a thought when you have read it:
I'm refering to John 11.35. "Jesus wept."
This is the whole verse, but I think it says alot. Jesus wept because a man named Lazarus had died. When a powerful man like Jesus wept over a man like Lazarus - shouldn't that mean that God weeps over humans, every time they feel pain or sorrow? God doesn't want us to suffer, it makes him cry - just like Jesus cried over Lazarus.
Remember that God and Jesus is alway there to help you. Every day they say, "what can I do for you, my child?" And then it's up to you what you will answer.

This is a few small things about me that I bet you didn't know...
The nicest thing in the whole wide world is...a marble. You can see the universe in a marble, if you have the imagination. I do, so I see the whole universe inside a tiny marble. I always carry one with me.
The 2nd nicest thing in the world is...the sea. I think that women rose from the ocean when she first sat foot at the earth. Women have a natural need to be near water of some kind at some point. Men doesn't have that need, although they have the same traces of extra skin between their fingers. I think we developed from creatures of the ocean.
The 3rd nicest thing in the world is...sea shells. You can hear the ocean in sea shells, and therefore, if you're not near an ocean, you can use a sea shell instead. They're almost as good as the real thing.
The 4th nicest thing in the world is...animals. What would the world be without animals? Cute, fury, wild, huge, small, vicious, terribly powerful, rare, extinct, plenty, majestic, strong and weak animals... I just love them.
The 5th nicest thing in the world is...boys. Even though some of them seem to mean that they're in control of women (which we know isn't true) they're kind of handy when you need them. Romantic boys are definitivly the best.

Favorite this and favourite that...
Here are some of the things I adore the most! (or things I simply just like...)
One thing I love to do; watch "The Lord of the Rings". I've seen it a couple of times (about twenty times, I should think) and I have both "Lord of the Rings the Fellowship of the Ring" and "Lord of the Rings Extended DVD Version". But I've always been a great Tolkien fan since before the movies came. I've read "The Hobbit" since I was little.
I also like to draw. I draw all sorts of things, but mostly elves and dragons, and other fantasy creatures. I don't do landscapes, as I'm not good at it.
Music: I like mostly rock and funk, and some of my favourite bands are; Linkin Park, Jamiroquai, The Distillers, U2, Mew, The Hives, P.O.D, The White Strips, Gåte, The Dandy Warholes, The Darkness, Nickelback and Dogstar. I also like the music from the LOTR movies.
Movie stars: I like the newest stars as everyone else, but I also like the old-fashion action stars, like Mel Gibson, Harrison Ford, Sylvester Stallone, guys like that. But I would have to say that my favourite old-fashion action star is Nicholas Cage. I love his eyes, they make his whole character glow. I especially like him in 'City of Angels', 'It could happen to you', 'Con Air', 'Face/Off' and 'Snake Eyes'. The 'new' actors: Elijah Wood, Ian McKellen, Zoë Wannamaker, Jean Reno, Winona Ryder, etc.... The list goes on and on and on... I love movies...
I admire Jesus, and I believe in God. I'm part of a christian club, with a gospel choir and a lots of great people!
My favourite food is; almost everything! (except peas)as long as it's not too much of it and it tastes good.
I'm born a Pisces and I think that's why I simply looove to swim. I love diving, jumping, and swimming for training. Mostly I love to go on holidays to Greece, or Italy, and go diving there amongst reefes and corals. I've never actually done that, but it's a dream I hope to achieve.
